GRID
GRID is a cyberspace gallery for viewing sculptural mandalas. The grid
of "jacks" are portals into alternatives spaces where the sculptures can
be observed. GRID offers a non
linear space with multiple options. However, these options which at
first appear numerous are restictive, traping the user in an
international style grid. Upon even furthur observation the entrapment is
relieved in that the sculptures are never the same providing an
endless variety of composition. GRID plays upon the ambiguity of entrapment
and variation available in this non-linear yet captive space.
