ApplicationsCAVERNUS offers a multitude of downloadable CAVE and/or ImmersaDesk applications. These Applications do not required the CAVElibrary to run and can be viewed on any high end SGI workstation.What's New!What's New is the latest application offering on CAVERNUS. Currently CAVERNUS is featuring "Cathedral" by Dave Swoboda. "Cathedral" is a CAVE classic. It was one of the first CAVE applications to utilize navigation features which we now take for granted.CAVE5DCAVE5D is an application developed by Glen Wheless, Cathy Lascara, Bill Hibbard, and Brian Paul of Old Dominion University and University of Wisconsin. It Integrates Vis5D and CAVE libraries Version 2.5.6 to provide interactive visualizations of time-varying, 3-dimensional data sets in an virtual environment. Vis5D is a system for interactive visualization of large 5-D gridded data sets such as those produced by numerical weather models.VRTVRT is a world wide web gallery for the Fine Arts in Virtual Reality. The current exhibition "Las Meninas" is in response to a painting by Diego Velasquez in 1656, which challenges the viewer with its mysterious subject matter. This application is breaking new ground towards the establishment of narrative virtual reality in a CAVE system. | ||
