I joined the University of Illinois in July 2007 after completing my Ph.D. in computer science at The University of Iowa. While at The University of Iowa I was an Assistant Research Scientist, and Research assistant at the GROW (Grid Research and educatiOn group @ ioWa) collaboration. My primary research interests include the development of large-scale distributed environments based on Grid computing, multi-agent systems, and P2P systems. In particular, I focus on developing tools and algorithms to enable cyberinfrastructure environments. At CyberInfrastructure and Geospatial Information (CIGI) Laboratory, I am the technical lead for the work on Grid troubleshooting and information systems. I am also a staff member on the Open Science Grid (OSG), actively contributing to OSG troubleshooting and security effort.
