John,

I had requested NCSA Steering Committee members to place a hold on their
calendars and alert their teams about PRAGMA visitors to NCSA wanting to
meet with appropriate NCSA Staff for issues of interest to them while they
are here during September 23-28, 2007. Beth has placed a hold on calendars
of ncsasteeringcmte that she has access to.

The Thailand NECTEC folks have the following request and I was wondering if
you with your appropriate team members could meet with them after PRAGMA
Workshop on Sept. 26th morning. They have requested the 26th, since a subset
of them are departing that afternoon. The PRAGMA Workshop will keep all
attendees engaged on 23-25th.

A large high level team from KISTI will be keeping us engaged prior to
PRAGMA on 21st September. So this request is for the 26th. Please confirm
so that I could let Sornthep and his team know.

Thanks.

Radha

Subject: Visit to NCSA

Dear Radha,

I'd like to ask you a favor. As we are going to visit NCSA for PRAGMA-13,
we, from NECTEC, are thinking of learning more about how NCSA operates,
particularly in providing excellent computing services. So we are interested
in spending one day before or after PRAGMA to visit and perhaps discuss with
some NCSA staff. We are interested in topics such as
1) Hardware configuration and management
2) Resource monitoring system
3) Data/Storage management
4) Usage accounting and evaluation
5) Resource allocation procedure
Out team will include Joe (Piyawut), Supakit, Little Joe (Chutchai) and me.
Can you help me arranging the visit? Are the topics above appropriate from
NCSA's view? Please let me know and suggest how I should proceed.

Thank you in advance.
