- Project: Developing visualization tools in the D2K framework for earthquake risk assessment. This project will eventually involve virtual reality techniques as well to take advantage of the benefits of immersion.
- Bio: Graduated in May 2001 with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. Currently, I am working as an Academic Professional for the National Center for Supercomputing Applications to develop a visualization tool that brings together information from the Damage Synthesis projects.
- Hobbies: Reading, Writing, Weightlifting, Computer Games (although no time anymore), Music (punk, emo, rock alt., classical...anything but country), anything outdoors.

D2K Visualization
- Written in Java and VTK
- VTK provides the API for the visualization tools
Past Project(s)
MPVR Project
- Written in C++, VTK, Performer, OpenGL
- VTK: provides all of the fluid visualization tools
- Performer: The Performer Scene graph ties the different parts together and as its name implies, is optimized for handling multiple geometric objects.
- OpenGL: The GUI is drawn in strict OpenGL.
- Currently MPVR compiles with both CAVELib and FreeVR
- Latest Release: MPVR 1.1
